Founded in 1916, Blessed Sacrament School, with the
strong support of its parish family, has earned the reputation of an
outstanding academic and spiritual school. With the opening of a new
school building in 1963, Blessed Sacrament expanded its programs to meet
the changing needs of future families.
In 1997, a new addition was erected which enabled
the school to enlarge the library, to install a new computer lab, to
expand our early childhood program (larger Kindergarten room and a new
pre-kindergarten room) and to create new school offices. In 2004, a new
science lab was built and additional computers were purchased. Blessed
Sacrament emphasizes not only respect for self and others but also
responsibility to the parish family and the community. These values are
reinforced through a program of daily religious education which stresses
presenting the Gospel message, building community, and rendering service
to others.
The Sisters of Mercy have been a part of Blessed
Sacrament School since its founding. A dedicated lay faculty and an
enthusiastic parent organization have made Blessed Sacrament a place of
which to be proud. As we move into the 21st Century, Blessed Sacrament
stands ready to serve its students and to provide a sound Catholic
education just as it has been doing since 1916.

The distinctive purpose of Blessed Sacrament School is to create a
Catholic Christian Education Community. It is our hope to provide a
total quality Catholic education in which each student can grow in his
or her spiritual life, academic ability, and physical maturity. The
faculty will continue to strive to provide a Catholic Christian
environment in which each student can grow to their fullest potential.
