Grade 3

• This year we will be starting our Junior Achievement class in which the third graders will learn about business and economics
• Some of the topics we cover in Math are place value, measurement, multiplication, addition and subtraction
• We have a "Bagel Day" in April to go along with one of our themes in the reading series
• In the spring time, we complete a unit about Culture and Celebration and we have a "Celebration day" where we share food from different cultures and have a celebration.
• In June, we have our yearly field trip to the Schenectady Planetarium to go along with our unit on the Solar System.
